About Me
ABOUT ME I am hard working girl, working full time at the moment and promoting my complementary health activities part time. My first complementary health qualification was in Indian Head Massage. I had friends and family queuing up for that one. The benefits are enormous and the only problem with being the therapist is that you never get to enjoy being pampered yourself. I followed that with the Reiki Healing qualifications, reaching Level 3. I found Reiki to be a wonderful soothing addition to my life. It has helped me many times when I have needed self-healing and there is an immense satisfaction in knowing you have helped somebody after giving a healing session. There is a tangible sense of serenity and peace after a Reiki healing. The Hopi Ear qualification came next. This was great. I really love the fact that the results are instantaneous. You can open those Hopi candles and see for yourself just what has been hiding in your ear canals. There was a time several years ago when my daughter, then aged around four, was complaining intermittently of pain in one of her ears. I had a look and couldn’t see anything. Then the pain would go for a minute or two and then she would hold her ear again and cry. I thought she was being awkward and was messing about because she didn’t want to go to playschool but some time later and after much anguish an ant crawled out of her ear and she was okay. This was before I was trained in Hopi Ear treatments. Had I had that remedy to hand I could have helped her immediately and the gentle suction of the candle would have cleared the ant out of the ear canal straight the way. Hypnotherapy was the next therapy I qualified in. It came about simply because I went to a hypnotherapist myself for some treatment. I found the whole procedure amazing and fascinating. I decided to invest in training and haven’t looked back since. I have helped so many people in so many different areas I have found it to be very rewarding. I am always considering new therapies, and there are still a lot out there that I might get involved in yet. Possibilities for the future are acupuncture and aromatherapy but there is only so much time in the day. On a different note, my personal life has been a roller-coaster of limitation, self-discovery, change and healing. If I have learned anything it is that nothing stays the same and it is not how we deal with things when they are going well that counts, it is how we handle things when the sky has fallen in and we are crawling out of the pit. Hold true to what you believe in, and always believe in yourself. |
